MASS Clinic provides free, compassionate care management for uninsured residents of Duval County. We connect individuals with essential resources, support, and medical guidance to ensure everyone gets the care they deserve.

Q. How do I become a patient?
Muslim American Social Services

To become a patient, you must meet the following criteria:
Be uninsured. This includes Medicare, Medicaid, or Share of Cost.

Be 18 years or older.

Have an income at or below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.

Reside in Duval County.*

* If you are a resident in surrounding counties (St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, or Baker), you will be eligible for In-House service. Please contact the clinic for further information regarding In- House Services.

Q. Can anyone become a patient at MASS Clinic?
Muslim American Social Services
Anyone who meets our eligibility requirements is welcome. However, as a volunteer clinic, we cannot provide services for pregnant individuals, minors under 18, or offer STD testing, TB testing, or vaccinations.
Q. How do I schedule an appointment?

Q. Are there any costs associated with the services?

MASS Clinic is free of charge for all patients that qualify for our services. Please note that pharmacies will charge for prescribed medications.
Q. Why do we need a proof of income (POI) statement?
Muslim American Social Services
Your POI is required for processing referrals. We cannot arrange specialty appointments without proof of income. The sooner we receive your proof of income, the faster we can proceed with your referral, which generally takes about 6-8 weeks.

We will notify you through the patient portal. If a follow-up is necessary, we will contact you via text.
Q. Do you administer vaccines?

No, but the Florida Department of Health can administer them at a nominal cost.
Q. When is the food pantry open?

The food pantry is open on
Sundays from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM and Tuesdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. You may visit up to two times a month.
